This year’s theme is cities around the world, and with so many exciting places to choose from, we decided to explore a little closer to home…

We’ll be delving into where Manchester’s industrial past meets the wildness within the city. The once industrious and now neglected corners of the city which hold the secrets of nature’s quiet vigour.

The natural world is often perceived as fragile and delicate, in truth, it’s resilient, adaptable and thrives when given the chance, even in seemingly inhospitable cracks and forgotten corners.

Nature persists with determination to move in, take root and form itself a home. Given time, nature always returns.

You are invited to pause and look a little closer at these seemingly barren spaces and take a moment to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature’s revolution
